London's long-run trend-based employment projections by sector and by borough. **_2013 Projections Data_** The GLA has produced projections of future labour market demand in London using historical data from the Office for National Statistics to create trend based projections of future employee numbers. Breakdowns of the numbers are available by industry of employment and by local authority of employment seperately and can be downloaded below. [2013 Borough projections](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/emp-proj-borough.xlsx) [2013 industry sector projections](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/emp-proj-industry.xlsx) For more information on the methdology used to project future numbers please download the accompanying report at the link below [Report of London Labour Market Projections](http://www.london.gov.uk/sites/default/files/llmp.pdf) **_2011 Projections Data_** It is important to note that these borough forecasts are not the ones that woud be used for a replacement London Plan as these have not been 'triangulated' with forecasts for transport accessibility and workplace capacity See [GLA Economics Working Paper 51](http://www.london.gov.uk/publication/working-paper-51-employment-projections-london-sector-and-trend-based-projections-borough) for further information [2011 Borough Projections](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/gla-employment-projections-borough-2011.csv) (data excludes self-employed) [2011 Sector Projections](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/gla-employment-projections-sector-2011.csv) _**2009 Projections Data**_ Borough level employment projections. Combines 3 sets of projections (trend-based, accessibility-based and the London employment sites database) according to a set of ‘triangulation’ rules. These are the borough employment projections in the London Plan and used elsewhere in the GLA group for planning purposes. Projects sector employment (12 sectors) on the basis of individual trends. Historic data (from 1971 to 2007) is licenced from Experian Business Strategies and projections (2008 to 2031) modelled by GLA Economics. Feeds into Triangulated employment projections.
