Birmingham City Council owned and managed social housing aggregated to Lower Super Output Areas ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ONS_coding_system ) to release more information that is captured in the Housing IT system. The aggregation of data is an automatic process that is intended to be used on many datasets. Therefore some of the data in this file results in a lot of columns in the CSV often counting by data attribute types. The whole of the data per property is aggregated to a Lower Super Output Area. Date fields are counted, number fields are totaled, averaged and have a minimum and maximum number. All textual fields are counted based on the number of attribute types. Information The following information refers to the columns in the data: Fleet = fleet number (specific number used to identify a vehicle) Vehicle = vehicle type Fuel = fuel used in litres Dist.Run = Total mileage for the reporting period MPG = Miles Per Gallon Type = D: Diesel, G: Gas Oil Please Note In some cases there may be an asterix in Dist.Run or 'ERROR' in MPG. This is due to an incorrect speedometer reading being input at some time during the report period. When an asterix is present, it may also mean that MPG is incorrect in each case. Where the Fleet number shows a number plate, these vehicles are not council owned but hire vehicles. Parks and Countryside service manage their own fuel stations which are not shown on this dataset. This dataset contains the individual responses to a survey conducted by West Yorkshire Combined Authority which sought to understand how people visiting the opening stages of the Tour de France in Yorkshire on the weekend of 5-6 July 2014 made their travel choices, including the sources of information they consulted, and what level of disruption they experienced on the roads and on public transport. The feedback survey took the form of an online survey and was designed by the Institute for Transport Studies, University of Leeds. The survey went live on 24 July 2014 and was open for 19 days, closing on 11 August 2014 and attracting a total of 1,881 respondents. Survey questions Many of the survey questions were multiple choice and had several parts – the questions are described in 2 separate data files. Please note, this is a one-off dataset and will not be updated.

The following dataset shows the number and type of planning applications taken by the Leeds Authority and the time taken. District level planning is undertaken by metropolitan and non-metropolitan districts, unitary authorities, national park authorities and urban development corporations. These authorities deal with all other planning applications that are not classified as county matters and mainly include applications for planning permissions on residential, offices, industrial, retail and householder developments. Coverage period is a rolling yearly period - starting from 1st September 2012 and ending 30th September 2013; then for a 12 month period from 1st January 2013 to 31st December 2013; and finally from 1st April 2013 until 31st March 2014. The following data set shows the number of dwellings in each energy efficiency rating band per quarter. The energy efficiency rating is a measure of the overall efficiency of a building. This rating is based on the performance of the building and its fixed services (such as heating and lighting). The higher the rating the more energy efficient the home is and the lower the fuel bills will be. The energy efficiency rating charts are divided into rating bands ranging from A+ to G, (or A to G in the case of a building that is a dwelling), where A+ is very efficient and G is the least efficient. A DEC (domestic energy certificate) shows the energy performance of a building (the operational rating) based on actual energy consumption as recorded over the last 12 months within the validity period of the DEC. This rating is shown on a scale from A to G. The statistics also include partial figures for Q3 2014. These have been included for reference purposes; however users should treat these as strictly provisional. The Q3 2014 figures will change in subsequent quarterly publications as the EPB Registers are updated with new EPCs and DECs.
