[Numbers of votes by party](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/local-elections-votes-party-2006.xls) for elections on 4 May 2006 by borough. Voters were able to make more than one vote. In 2006, it was discovered that Eastbury ward was inaccurate due to a clerical error. After seeking legal advice, it was decided that as the result had been declared it must stand until a petition is made to the High Court by the affected candidate. 2006: It was not possible for Hackney to provide figures for postal voters which included rejected ballot papers, all the rejected ballot papers are included with the polling station figures. 2006: Westminster would not provide figures for postal voters. The ward statistics from this election, can be found [here](/datastore/package/council-elections-candidate-results-ward-2006). Summary measures at [ward level of the Indices of Deprivation](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/gla-deprivation-indices-ward-2007.xls) (ID) 2007. NOTE: The ward summary for ID2010 can be found on the [ID2010 page](/datastore/package/indices-deprivation-2010). The Government's Indices of Deprivation are produced for small areas across England. Summary measures of the Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) are published for local authorities. This dataset gives GLA calculations giving, as far as possible, comparable summary measures for wards in London. It also includes GLA calculations giving the two supplementary indices at ward level. The purpose is to replicate, as far as possible, the local authority level measures published by CLG and gives alternative and additional measures, including a ward level version of the Income Deprivation Affecting Children Index (IDACI) and the Income Deprivation Affecting Older People Index (IDAOPI). The scores and ranks within London are given, with a rank of 1 denoting the most deprived out of a total of 628 wards in London, with the City of London grouped into four areas, only the first ward of which is named. The ward level summary measures replicating those at LA level produced here are: -Average of SOA Scores -Average of SOA Ranks -Extent -The Income Scale -The Employment Scale The LA level Concentration measure cannot be sensibly reproduced at ward level, since it is based on ten per cent of the area’s population, which is in most cases less than a single SOA. Instead, a summary measure Highest ranked SOA in ward has been included. Additionally, this Briefing includes the total number of SOAs in each ward and gives a count of how many SOAs are included among the more deprived areas in England. Four such counts are given – the five per cent most deprived, ten per cent, 20 per cent and 50 per cent, or above average.

Modelled NO2 annual mean concentrations in London for the year 2006. Calculations are based on the 2006 [London Atmospheric Emissions Inventory (LAEI)](http://legacy.london.gov.uk/mayor/environment/air_quality/research/emissions-inventory.jsp" London Atmospheric Emissions Inventory") and use three different meteorological scenarios (2003, 2004 and 2006). This dataset can be mapped in a Geographic Information System (GIS) using the corresponding 20m grid or point datasets also available on the Datastore. Due to the detailed nature of this dataset and the resulting large file size, the download file has been compressed.

Description

Concentration Modelling has been produced by the Environmental Research Group, Kings College London, using the LAEI 2008. Pollutant maps for the Greater London area have been produced for the years 2008, 2011 and 2015. Emissions data contained within the [LAEI 2008](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/laei-2008) can also be downloaded from the Datastore _Technical Information_ This dataset consists of a series of very detailed GIS layers showing modelled concentration values for five different pollutants. Each zip file contains a 20 metre grid shapefile, mxd and layer files for use in ESRI ArcGIS software. Data will be made available in other formats and structures (such as generalised contours which are faster to draw) in due course. **Pollutant** **Illustrative Map (jpg)** **20m grid (shapefile)** **20m grid (tab file)** NO2 Annual Mean [2008](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/images/laei-2008-no2am-2008.jpg) [2011](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/images/laei-2008-no2am-2011.jpg) [2015](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/images/laei-2008-no2am-2015.jpg) [Download file ](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/datafiles/environment/laei-2008-no2a-20mgrid-shp.zip)(147mb zipped) n/a NOx Annual Mean [2008](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/images/laei-2008-noxam-2008.jpg) [2011](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/images/laei-2008-noxam-2011.jpg) [2015](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/images/laei-2008-noxam-2015.jpg) [Download file ](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/datafiles/environment/laei-2008-noxa-20mgrid-shp.zip)(150mb zipped) n/a PM10 Annual Mean [2008](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/images/laei-2008-pm10am-2008.jpg) [2011](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/images/laei-2008-pm10am-2011.jpg) [2015](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/images/laei-2008-pm10am-2015.jpg) [Download file ](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/datafiles/environment/laei-2008-pm10a-20mgrid-shp.zip)(142mb zipped) n/a PM10 Exceedence [2008](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/images/laei-2008-pm10e-2008.jpg) [2011](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/images/laei-2008-pm10e-2011.jpg) [2015](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/images/laei-2008-pm10e-2015.jpg) [Download file](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/datafiles/environment/laei-2008-pm10e-20mgrid-shp.zip) (148mb zipped) n/a PM25 Exceedence [2008](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/images/laei-2008-pm25e-2008.jpg) [2011](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/images/laei-2008-pm25e-2011.jpg) [2015](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/images/laei-2008-pm25e-2015.jpg) [Download file ](https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/londondatastore-upload/datafiles/environment/laei-2008-pm25e-20mgrid-shp.zip)(140mb zipped) n/a
