The data set contains data from the National Paediatric Diabetes Audit Report 2010-11. While the audit itself covered both England and Wales, please note that the data contained within this data file relates to paediatric diabetes units in England only. These data describe the extent to which the key care processes for infants, children and young people under the age of 25 years with diabetes (as recommended by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence), including measurements of HbA1c levels , are being met. While the audit covered both England and Wales, please note that the data contained in the data file relates to the paediatric diabetes units in England only. For further information and details on the audit please refer to the National Paediatric Diabetes Audit Report 2010-11 The eight key processes of care include the following: • Glycated Haemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) • Body Mass Index (BMI) • Blood pressure • Urinary albumin • Blood creatinine • Cholesterol • Eye screening • Foot examination The data contained in the CSV files were first published in September 2012 in the National Paediatric Diabetes Audit Report 2010 - 2011.
